AlignerSilk is designed with privacy at its core. The app operates primarily on your device, and no personal data is transmitted to us or any third party unless you explicitly choose to enable optional features such as iCloud Sync.
This Privacy Policy applies to the AlignerSilk mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
AlignerSilk is developed and operated by an individual developer based in Australia. For the purposes of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), we are the entity responsible for the personal information handled through this App.

By default, all data you enter into AlignerSilk - including aligner tracking records, progress notes, and Photo Journal images - is stored exclusively on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to enable iCloud Sync (see Section 3.2 below).

AlignerSilk includes an optional iCloud Sync feature that is turned off by default. If you choose to enable it, your Photo Journal images and related data may be stored in Apple’s iCloud service, governed by Apple’s iCloud storage infrastructure.
